Elias and Alexander at Manneken Pis

Alexander has invited Elias along to Brussels, where Alexander used to live. At Manneken Pis, they are eating a waffle. Manneken Pis is a small bronze statue of a peeing boy in the center of Brussels. The 55.5 cm tall little fellow on a pedestal is located at the corner of Stoofstraat and Eikstraat, not far from the Grand Place. It is a 1966 replica of a creation by Hieronymus Duquesnoy from 1619. The statue has grown into one of the most famous Belgian and Brussels monuments and a symbol—mascot of the city of Brussels.
