After Jamie is arrested at home for the murder of his classmate Katie, he is taken to the police station. The police station was located in a large studio in South Kirby. This production hub was provided by the executive producer. Major artists such as Sam Smith, Coldplay and Elton John have rehearsed here. Like many other scenes in the series, the police car ride is filmed in one take, without interruptions. The route to the police station is: Carr View (Jamie's home) via Brierly Cres, Kirkby Cl, Beacon View, Carr ln to Langthwaite Road where the studio was located.
