Badgast is a Dutch-Flemish drama series about Vince Goossens (Tom Waes), a divorced father struggling to connect with his teenage daughter Zoë (Freya van Campenhout). In an attempt to repair their relationship, he takes her on vacation.
Zoë thinks they're going to Curaçao to her father's diving school for a diving course, but Vince changes their plans at the last minute and they end up on Terschelling. This immediately causes disappointment and tension between them. During their stay on the island, they're forced to get to know each other better, while Vince becomes increasingly entangled in problems and questionable situations. Old secrets, lies, and unspoken feelings surface, putting their relationship under pressure.
